Harry pulls out the chocolate frog and wow! Magic, look at that! It’s moving all on it’s own that’s incredible, aw look at it hop- oh, it jumped out the window. That’s a shame… You want to see my scar? Oh okay, yeah. You-Know-Who?… Someone broke into Gringotts…

His children! Oh wow! Look at it, it’s so wonderful! It’s magic and it’s here and it’s right now and this is my life, isn’t it? My life is chocolate frogs that hop on their own and scarlet steam engines and a school in Scotland and my parents who love me. Look at that frog- Oh! Rose caught it! Give it here, it’s my candy! Rose!

Can we take a moment to see Harry’s childhood jump out the window too fast? Can we take a minute to see how fast he had to grow up in order to do what he knew was right? Can we take a minute to look at how Harry grew up too fast so that he could make a world where his children could grow up at their own pace, and not have to fight and be scared and feel horrible all the time.

Can we just take a minute to appreciate Harry Potter, and all the people who had to grow up too fast to make the world a better place for the next generation?
